Corbulo Academy of Navel Science (CAANS), is a navel officer training academy, located in the Kuomi Solar System of the Bleak Lands Region. Corbulo Academy focuses mainly on technical studies in combat, mining, missioning and is considered a great school for aspiring capsuleers. The school collaborates with many leading Amarr corporations, which benefits the school, the companies and not the least the students.
Overview
History
The academy was named after the Roman general Gnaeus Domitius Corbulo of late Earth history. Additionally, students honor Corbulo by exclaiming "Axios" meaning "I am worthy" in Greek. These were Corbulo's last words as he intentionally fell upon his own sword by order of Emperor Nero, who had ordered Corbulo to kill himself to prove his loyalty to the Roman Empire.

Corbulo Academy of Navel Science is an academy first and foremost and is combat orientated. We believe success comes from strong leadership, Quality training, good diplomacy and the ability to smash our enemies in the face.
Expectations of the Corporation:
Corbulo Academy of Navel Science intent, is to operate as a combat organization first, with the added divisions in Mining, Missions, Research & Development, Planetary Interaction, and Manufacturing of ships, modules, munitions, and capitals for its members and its income. The combat policy is one of self-discipline, and commitment to our cause.
